List of D4H diesel locomotives in Vietnam

D4H in Vietnam (origin Russia TY7 diesel)

In Northern of Vietnam you can easy find them in many Depot (Hanoi, Yen Vien Depot) and in some main station.

We would like to introduce this kind of diesel locomotive in this forum because this kind of diesel locomotive is one of the first diesel locomotives were imported in Vietnam during 1960s.

Many thanks for the good photo's of the D4'H, now í it posible to list all the D4 locomotives that are still working in Vietnam, listing the diferent types like the D4H, D4HR, D2M, and there locations, ??
The website looks very good now that you have changed it back from the old one, keep up the good work its really good,

I take photos of D4H not only in Yen Vien Depot but also at Hanoi Depot and Yen Bai Depot, in Yen Bai Depot now almost D4H are still using in this area.

Hi H0 scale friends!
Several years ago, I made a close copy of DH4 diesel seen from an old VCR movie of VN's steam locos. Based on 1970's TYCO 4 wheel switcher made in Hong Kong. I repainted over its Santa Fe 241 paintwork green with a yellow stripe, and painted 2 Model Power oldtime carriages green. Looks good, better than nothing, and the train with Bachmann EZ Tracks are at my wife home at VN.

In my last message on Tyco H0 model, I wrote DH4 in error, should be D4H. Toi nghiep nhieu!

The D4H diesel is my favourite diesel, D13 my second favourite. Thanks for the photos.
