Members might be interested in my new "Modelling the Railways of Vietnam" website at:
http://modelvn.megabyet.net
It's early days but I hope to add a lot more soon. Any contributions greatfully received.
Please note that my other new website "Railways in Vietnam" is really not of any use at the moment. Give me a couple of weeks.

Hi H0 scale friends!
Several years ago I went to Vietnam for family visit. One day they take me to Da Lat, and lo, behold, I saw Ga Da Lat. Phia sau ga, day la dau may hoi nuoc 131-425 { C12 class Nhat} Tren side track, co 3 four-wheeled carriages. Later after return home, I made a H0 model 1/80 scale model of Da Lat tourist carriage using a spare plastic battery toytrain carriage, cut, filed. This I mounted on a new subfloor on old 1950's H0 die-cast Fleischmann 4 wheel frame spare. First I glued pasengers inside, and glued together everything, finally paint model red and blue with white striping. NEM moc-noi completes model.
